Marika Christine is inspired by the power of tenderness. Her music creates a whimsical atmosphere to navigate the highs and lows of life. Sonic influences include Laurel Canyon folk, 60's pop, and psychedelic rock.
Her latest album, Soft Like an Apricot was released on Ghost Mountain Records in May of 2023. It was recently included on a list of the best indie albums of the year by Bay Area artists via White Crate Collective. Her band features Maria Donjacour, Adam Wilson, and Conner McNesby.

“The sound here definitely
hinges on 60’s and 70’s
pop, of the glorious sound
of Carole King... Harry
Nilsson too and Burt
Bacharach”
